  6. Thanks for trying out NetFortune!  NetFortune 
  7. is a 1 to 4 player word guessing game
  8. that is a cross between roulette and hangman.  
  9. Players guess phrases from a 700+ phrase database 
  10. that assures you never get the same one twice 
  11. (unless you have seen all of the phrases).  
  12. The winner of all the regular rounds gets to go on 
  13. to a bonus round for a chance to increase their 
  14. score and win exciting prizes.

  16. NetFortune can be played over the internet, modem, 
  17. IPX/SPX network and through direct serial connection.

  19. NOTE:

  21. Netfortune requires you have a least directx 3.0 
  22. installed on you machine in order to operate.
  23. DirectX is used for many multimedia programs 
  24. available today and will be a part of the upcomming
  25. windows 98, lets you run cool internet plugins
  26. and is a generally a must have.  You can download
  27. version 5.0+ at:

  35.    OR
  36.      Windows NT 4.0: Must Service Pack 3 installed

  42. -Sound Card (optional)
  43. -Modem (optional)

  53. If you experience problems with online play, it could
  54. be because you don't have the proper directx version
  55. on your computer.

  60. Shareware:

  62. NetFortune is shareware.  This means that you may use 
  63. the program for 30 days to see if you like it.  After the 
  64. 30 days are up, you can either purchase the program or 
  65. delete it from your harddrive.  This trial version of 
  66. NetFortune will only work for 30 days after this the
  67. program will switch out of trial mode and you will no 
  68. longer be able to play.
